Nigeria Secret Police Details Leaked!!!

Personnel records of former and current members of Nigeria's top domestic spy agency, including home addresses and names of immediate family members, leaked onto the Internet in a threatening message that claimed to come from a radical Islamist sect that's killed hundreds of people this year alone, The Associated Press has learned.

The leak of personal data of more than 60 past and current employees of Nigeria's State Security Service remained easily accessible on the Internet for days and had details about the agency's director-general, including his mobile phone number, bank account particulars and contact information for his son. Many of agents listed who could be reached by the AP said they received no official warning from the spy agency that their information had been posted online nor been otherwise alerted. The material has been deleted from the comment section of a website, but the security breach astonished veterans and calls into question whether Nigeria's intelligence community, whose agents already have released suspected terrorists out of religious and ethnic sympathies, are too compromised from within to stop the violence now plaguing Africa's most populous nation.

"This is a national embarrassment," said one Nigerian intelligence official, who spoke on condition of anonymity as information about the leak was not to have been made public.

Marilyn Ogar, a spokeswoman for the State Security Service, did not immediately respond to requests for comment Thursday about the leak.

The State Security Service, created in 1986 by then-military ruler Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, monitors domestic dissent in Nigeria, an oil-rich nation of more than 160 million people. Though geared toward stopping terrorism and destabilizing coups, the agency routinely faces criticism for targeting government critics. In Abuja, Nigeria's capital, the agency operates out of cars made to look like the many green taxis that roam the streets. Plain-clothed agents of the service routinely question foreign journalists at airports, border crossings and on city streets if they see reporters conducting interviews. Agents carrying assault rifles often guard major events in the country.

Many agents for the typically secretive agency are preoccupied with concealing their identities, as most try to blend unnoticed into society.

The information leak came in two postings earlier this month on a website that provides rewritten news on Nigeria. The first posting threatened to kill agents of the State Security Service on behalf of Boko Haram, a radical Islamist sect responsible for more than 660 killings this year alone in Nigeria. The second posting simply offered a block of text containing biographical and other details about the agents.

Though the comments have been removed, the AP is not identifying the website involved as cached versions of the comments remain online and intelligence service agents have been killed by Boko Haram members in the past.

The list includes former and current agents across the country, including Director-General Ekpeyong Ita. Those reached by the AP who were willing to talk expressed disbelief that sensitive information like that could make its way to the Internet.

"I was shocked to see my details posted on the Internet," said one former agent, who declined to be named out of safety concerns. "I've not heard anything from anybody. I was surprised that such information could be leaked."

Another man on the list said he simply once served as a doctor to help the agency on an on-call basis only. The list appeared to include lower-ranking agents, as well as one-time state directors for the agency.

Some of those contacted suggested that the list appeared to come from the agency's pension department, as it mostly included retirees and listed bank account information for nearly all those named.

The release of the information comes as Nigeria's intelligence agencies have made a series of blunders in trying to fight Boko Haram in Africa's most populous country, with some likely influenced by ethnic or religious sentiments. Intelligence agencies allegedly released a suspected Islamic radical in 2007 who later masterminded Boko Haram's suicide car bombing of the U.N. headquarters in August 2011 that killed at least 25 people and wounded more than 100 others, officials previously told the AP. A leaked U.S. diplomatic cable also show U.S. officials complained in 2008 about Nigeria's government quietly releasing other suspects into the custody of Islamic leaders as part of a program it called "Perception Management."

Another U.S. diplomatic cable complains that State Security Service agents nearly let a suspected bomb maker trained by the Somali terror group al-Shabab onto an international flight, despite an Interpol notice for his arrest. The agents who allegedly tried to release Mohamed Ibrahim Ahmed "not only knew about the Interpol notice, but simply said they did not want to hold him any longer," the February 2010 cable read.

Ahmed, an Eritrean, pleaded guilty to charges in June in a U.S. federal court that he supported terrorism by associating with al-Shabab, a terror group with links to al-Qaida. He faces up to 10 years in prison.

Most of those on the leaked list of agents reached by the AP said no one from the federal government or the spy agency warned them that their personnel information had appeared on the Internet. Instead, colleagues and other former agents called each other to spread the news and later contacted the State Security Service themselves to report the breach.

It is unclear if the person who posted the information online really does have ties to Boko Haram, which has targeted security officials in the past. Violence has been centered mostly in the country's Muslim north. One retired agent who spoke to AP said he was grateful he lives in the largely Christian south, away from the sect's attacks.

"It's worrying that they have access to that," the agent said. "Those living in Abuja (and the north) are the ones who should living in fear

Evidence That Car Dealer Larry Onuegbu Lied About Naetoc's Porsche Cayenne Wedding Gift...

No one will forget rapper NaetoC's wedding in  a hurry.....Who gets married and gets a Porsche cayenne as gift?.....You tell me.

The can of worms unravelled by the rappers porsche cayenne wedding gift is still the talk of the moment and the man at the centre of this controversy is none other than Car dealer and CEO of mega point Mr Larry who has been fingered with questionable character.

Mr Larry recently distributed some money around town to run down the name of  Dumebi kachikwu and that is what i find so annoying....Why distribute money to online bloggers to Run down a mans character if your hands are clean?

Who amongst all the online people running down this story to Mr Larrys advantage collected money?the money distributed was 600k so i hope those spreading the lies got a fair share otherwise you would have been used in Mr Larry game.

Mr Larry has used his giant teeth to bite the finger that has fed him,he is busy granting interviews and spreading lies but inside sources swear he has been sending people to beg Mr Kachikwu to overlook what happened.

I read his sorry peice where he was quoted as saying ''We agreed on everything that he's going to pay on Monday but now that he has shined with the car and can't raise the money he's telling me stories."

My Question is How can someone who borrowed larry N20million naira when he was in need of it not be able to pay him N14million naira?
Our forefathers say that ''everyday for the thief but na one day owner owner go halla!

SUMMARY OF THE PETITION FILED AGAINST MR LARRY FROM SPECIAL FRAUD UNIT ANONYMOUS SOURCES who claims Mr Larry is being charged to court on thursday August 10,2012 by the special fraud unit for matters relating to the porsche cayenne,

''Mr Kachikwu's first encounter with Larry was in the Late 90s when he used to sell used tires in Itire, Surulere.
He sold him four used tires for his Honda Accord and claimed they were new. He returned the money when it almost became a police matter.

Fast forward to 2008, 2009 when Larry approached Mr Kachikwu again through a friend and said he was a dealer in luxury cars.
His face was immediately recognized even  though he was now light skinned.

He tried to sell Mr Kachikwu a couple of cars but each time the car was delivered it would be noticed that the car was a used car packaged as a new car.

One weekend four years ago, Larry flew to Abuja on a saturday and asked Mr Kachikwu for N20M  naira loan. He said he had a problem with somebody and that he would pay  back in 4 months or  supply a brand new Bentley for about  N32 million naira.
Mr Kachikwu a car freak  gave him the N20M naira and asked him to deliver the Bentley.Larry also got a cheque of N12M NAIRA to balance up the bentley money.
. When Larry delivered the Bentley  the leather was so  worn that a Bentley dealership in the US was called to make enquiries. it was discovered that the car was two years old and that it had done over 20,000 miles which means that Larry had tampered with the mileage setting. They asked that the matter be reported to the FBI since it was a federal offence.
Larry refused to return Mr kachikwus money until the EFCC came into the matter and He promptly returned paid up and apologised. He prevailed on Mr Kachikwus friends to beg on his behalf for almost two years.
He was forgiven.

In December of 2010 he sold Mr Kachikwu a 2011 Infinity jeep and early this year he sold him another Infinity jeep claiming it was a 2012 model.it has just been discovered that the two cars are both 2011 models..meaning he sold the same car, same model, same colour twice as different cars.
Larry also sold Mr Kaxhikwu a mercedes benz S63 for N30M which turned out to be used.He was asked him to to refund the money but hasnt till date even though he picked up the car.

In December 2011 he sold Mr Kachikwu a supposed 2012 Rolls Royce Ghost for N65M but After the car stopped on the road twice  Rolls Royce head office was contacted and they said they had no record of the car.
Larry delivered a Porsche car to Naeto C and claimed that it was a 2012 model but didnt let Mr Kaxhikwu see the car before taking it to the wedding venue, after the car had been presented to naeto,Mr Kachikwu asked Naeto for the VIN number of the car and when it was checked, they found out the car was a used 2009/2010 model, meanwhile Larry had sent an invoice claiming that the car was a 2011 model.
The Posh Cayenne is PRESENTLY IN DETENTION at the Special Fraud Unit at Milverton, Ikoyi.

Larry has borrowed N12 million from his Friend Mr Kachikwu in the last 4 months and is still owing  N30M naira for the S63 That was returned to him''.
 QUESTIONS LARRY SHOULD ANSWER
1. Why did his invoice say 2011 Porsche Cayenne if he is claiming Mr Kachikwu kn
ew it was a 2009 car?
11. Skymits Motors at Ikeja have denied that Mr Kachikwu owes them any monies as claimed by Mr Larry in his syndicated interview to online bloggers....Does he know this?

Wait a minute, Talia went to beg Seydou to take her back?

At least that's what he's claiming...with photo evidence sef. For those who don't understand what this is about, let me explain.

BBA housemates Seydou and Talia were kinda 'dating', kissing, touching etc until Seydou was eliminated from the BBA house many weeks back. Talia cried her eyes out when Seydou left. Y'all remember?

Well, just last week, two days before the end of the game, Talia had sex with another housemate, Keagan.

The thing now is, Seydou is claiming that when he returned to SA for the BBA finale, Talia came to his room, crying and begging him to take her back.
The silly boy took photos and secretly recorded a video of when Talia was in his hotel room and posted on Twitter. See it after the cut...plus their private conversation...

Last Flight is the No. 2 film in West African cinemas right now? Yay!

That is according to the film producer, Obi Emelonye. Last Flight to Abuja is a thriller based on terrifying real events surrounding an air disaster. It features Omotola, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Jim Iyke, Uru Eke and many more. Have you seen the movie? Did you like it?

Northern youths warn Asari Dokubo; say they're not afraid of war

Northern youths under the umbrella of Arewa Youth Forum have asked Ijaw Leader, Chief Edwin Clark; and militant youths leader, Asari Dokubo, to mind what they say publicly about their region as it could lead to the disintegration of the country. A statement from the National President of the AYF, Mr. Gambo Gujungu, below
People like Clark and Asari had forgotten that the region was the mainstay of the Nigerian state before the discovery of oil. It is pertinent to let the war mongers know that the North is not afraid of war. But we are advocates of peace. We are not war mongers and will not and will never call for war within the polity of Nigeria.
But we are bothered that Asari Dokubo, Edwin Clark and co are turning President Goodluck Jonathan into an Ijaw leader instead of the President of the Federal republic of Nigeria that he is.

Beyonce and Jay Z Named World's Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples

Forbes Magazine just named Jay and Bey the highest paid celebrity couple in the world. Together they made $78 million - from May 2011 to May 2012. Beyonce - $40m, Jay Z - $38m. And Beyonce took a break for most of the year. Na wa o! :-)

 From Forbes Magazine
Take Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z, for example. Last year’s runners-up on the list of The World’s Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples, the duo has now climbed one spot to top this year’s ranking. Knowles, who took a break from her hectic touring schedule in 2011 to give birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter, still collects big paychecks from old hits. Besides, the singer’s new album went platinum in the U.S., not to mention her non-musical ventures and endorsement deals, which all helped to bring her total earnings between May 1, 2011 and May 1, 2012 to $40 million, according to data from the latest Celebrity 100 list.
And as the male half of music’s first couple, Jay-Z isn’t far behind his wife. The hip-hop mogul made millions from Watch the Throne, his musical collaboration with pal Kanye West, and even more from the tour that followed. Add to that a bevy of non-musical enterprises such as ad firm Translation and cosmetics company Carol’s Daughter and the result is a staggering $38 million that he has brought home in twelve months, putting the couple’s annual income at $78 million.

Eminem beats Lady Gaga and Rihanna in race to secure 60 million Facebook fans

Eminem has become the first musician to secure over 60 million fans on Facebook, beating Lady Gaga and Rihanna to the record.

The rapper, who announced recently that he has begun work on his new studio album, now has 60,093,667 on the social networking giant, more than any other musician.

Eminem has long been the most popular person on the social networking site, taking the honour from Michael Jackson way back in 2009. Rihanna, however, is narrowly approaching 60 million fans herself, with a current total of 59,318,829 likes.

Eminem recently confirmed that he has begun work on his new album and that regular producer Dr. Dre will definitely "be involved".
The rapper released his seventh studio album 'Recovery' in 2010 and earlier this year postponed filming his second lead role in new movie Southpaw to focus on his new record.

Speaking about his progress, Eminem said: "I'm not that far along in the process as far as like figuring out. Of course Dr Dre will be involved. I don't have anything with him yet. What I usually do is I'll get going you know and kind of start going in a certain direction or whatever, and just record what I'm feeling or whatever. I get a few songs, and then I get kind of a direction, and then I'll go see Dre and fill in some of those pieces."

He continued: "You know, Dre will listen and I'll see what he thinks I'm missing or you know I might come to him and say 'I think I'm missing this kind of record' or 'what if I went in this direction' or whatever."

Eminem's most recent recorded output was a collaboration with rapper Royce da 5'9' as new duo named Bad Meets Evil. They released their debut EP 'Hell: The Sequel' last year.

Snoop Dogg repents = Snoop Lion aka Snoop Dogg heads up new documentary about Jamaican culture

The film will accompany the rapper's forthcoming 'Reincarnated' reggae album

Snoop Dogg's brand new reggae persona, Snoop Lion, is set to head up a new documentary.

Following the artist's recent journey to Jamaica, Vice will be releasing a feature-length film and a photobook, as well as the 'Reincarnated' album, produced by Diplo/Major Lazer.

The documentary, Reincarnated, shares a name with the forthcoming Snoop Lion reggae album, and features never-before-seen images of Rastafarian and Jamaican culture. It will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7. Photographer Willie T accompanied Snoop on the trip and will release a coffee table book of his images.

Snoop Lion was the name given to the rapper by a Rastafarian priest upon his arrival to the island – it comes from the Lion on the Imperial Ethiopian flag, which is highly important to Rastafarians as it is a symbol of former Ethiopian Emperor Halie Selassie.

Of his trip to Jamaica, Snoop said at a recent New York press conference, that he believes he is the reincarnation of singer Bob Marley. He added: "For this project, I had no intention of making a reggae album, but the spirit called me. Anytime the spirit calls you gotta know that it's serious and real."

He continued: "I didn't want to be Snoop Dogg on a reggae track... I wanted to bury Snoop Dogg and become Snoop Lion, but I didn't know that until I went to the temple and received the name Snoop Lion from the Nyabingi priest. From that moment on, I started to understand why I was there and was able to create something magical in this project... something I haven't done before in my career."

Snoop Dogg teamed up with Diplo to release a reggae single, titled 'La La La'. You can listen to the track below.
