Bakare Attacks Jonathan Again, Accuses Him Of Naivety

Pastor Tunde Bakare,  G.O Latter Rain Assembly and former Vice Presidential Candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC),

The General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly and former Vice Presidential Candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Pastor Tunde Bakare, has accused President Goodluck Jonathan of naivety in the running of the affairs of the country.

The pastor turned politician claimed that the president’s incompetence was causing profound injury to the health of the nation.
He, therefore, advocated for a peaceful change of the central government citing what he called “catalogue of scandalous mismanagement of national resources, the unbridled stealing of public funds and the bewildering exposure of the level of corruption in almost every arm of government.”
Bakare, who spoke at a special session with pressmen and church members, yesterday, reiterated his earlier position on what he described as “our humble contribution towards nation building”.
He said: “The purpose of any meaningful government is the welfare and security of the people. In our clime, neither welfare nor security of the lives and property of our people seems to matter anymore. Our malady is not new. History holds records of nations who were bled to death by their rulers and tells how such leaders were ultimately dealt with when the oppressed could no longer bear the heavy weight of their oppressive and insensitive leadership”
