Chris Brown's Fortune Debuts At Number One; Adele Ties Alanis Morissette's Chart Record

Chris Brown has doubled up on his luck - his new album "Fortune" has debuted at number one in America just days after scoring the top spot on the U.K. charts.

It's the R&B star's second number one album on the Billboard 200.

The release keeps Katy Perry from taking her "Teenage Dream" album back to the top of the U.S. countdown - fuelled by the release of her new Part of Me concert movie and an Amazon.com MP3 sale, the album has shot up the charts from 21 to number two.

Justin Bieber's "Believe," "Overexposed" by Maroon 5 and Linkin Park's "Living Things" round out the new top five.

Meanwhile, Adele has tied with Alanis Morissette for the most weeks in the top 10 for an album by a woman - "21" drops to number nine in its 72nd week on the countdown. Morissette scored the feat with "Jagged Little Pill."
